The denim begins crisp and structured, then gradually softens with wear while developing individualized fading based on how each pair is worn.

RELAXED TAPERED

The Relaxed Tapered jeans provides a relaxed upper silhouette without becoming excessively wide. It features a higher rise, extra room through the seat and thigh, and a gradual taper from the knee toward the leg opening.

Best for: A cleaner, more structured streetwear fit with room through the upper leg.

WIDE FIT

The Wide Fit is the more oversized option. It features a high rise, full seat and thigh, and a wide, nearly straight leg designed for a bold vintage-inspired silhouette. 

Best for: Oversized/Y2K styling, stacked looks, sneakers, boots, and wider streetwear silhouettes.

14.5oz Indigo Selvedge Denim

The Akira Denim Pants use substantial 14.5oz raw indigo selvedge denim. The fabric is sanforized to minimize shrinkage while maintaining the crisp feel and character associated with raw denim.

Indigo rope-dyed warp yarns create the deep exterior color, while the contrasting white weft produces the classic denim interior. With regular wear, the fabric will soften and develop natural fades unique to the wearer.

RAW DENIM BREAK-IN

Raw denim is designed to evolve.

When first worn, the Akira Denim Pants will feel firm and structured. With continued wear, the denim will gradually conform to your body and become softer. Indigo will naturally fade in areas of friction, creating personalized whiskers, honeycombs, stacking and other wear patterns.

Every pair tells a different story.

IMPORTANT SIZING NOTE

For the best fit, compare the measurements above with a pair of jeans you already own that fits you well rather than relying solely on your usual waist size.

RTF = Relaxed through the seat and thigh with a tapered leg.
WF = Wider, looser silhouette with a nearly straight leg.

Measurements may vary slightly due to the nature of garment production and raw denim. A variance of approximately ±0.5" is considered normal.
